Which Business?

How often are you thinking about the business you are in? What do you think?

I am surre that being in business is a 24 hour thing. Particularly when we do most of the work our selves. Would you agree? The key question is really, WHY, are we doing what we do? It is likely that most people in business have never thought of this question. Not because they thought that it is a silly question, but it was obvious that we usually start business because we want to try our will and ability. But was it really so?

The fact is, that some people do certain types of businesses without being ready for it. Some had no previous experience in their particular category, others simply thought, well it does not matter what I do, as long as it is some type of business. While only small percentage of business owners know that they do , what they do, because they had made a conscious decision and do what they love doing most. Zig Zigler  is promoting the idea of answering a question, as to WHY? do we want to do things in our lifes. He is right, as we must be sure of the choice we make, especially when it comes to some key areas of our life. Job, business, career, are three major areas of our life, that right choice and right decision have a direct infulence in the quality of our life.

Few years ago, I have overheard an argument between a mother and son, which enede up in bring up some sad moments in their lifes. The mother asked her son, " Why are you so bitter, you have a great job?". The son snapped back, saying, " No, I hate my work. I am unhappy, because you have put me in to this profession". Wow!, I thought. This is a classic example where people did not have a choice in life. But then I thought, hey!, this guy was really a loser. He was not given a chance to make his own choices. He was lead by his hand to something he never wanted to do!!.... What a sad life...

Hearing this, I reviewed my own decisions and was happy to learn that I managed to have infulence on my own life, while this guy, had none, untill now. Everything we do in life is directly infuenced by us. So when thinking of our future, I certainly agree with Zig Zigler. What ever I plan, or intend to do, I ask my self, WHY? , then I make choices and follow them through. The choice is mine, if I make a mistake, it is my own fault, no one else`s.

I have researched many MLM business opportunities back in the 90`s, and found none to be really suitable to me. Today, I know, that I was not ready for any of them, even thought evryone had a lot to offer. The first I went in to was Amway. The earnings system was great, but I did not see my self in sales, so I gave up. Avon, Network 21 and many more I checked. Nothing . has convinced me until now.

Two MLM companies has made me think again, these are: Monavie and Colway. Both have great products to offer with a great earning schedule. What attracted m most is their products and results they produce.

The biggest impact on my continuing interest in MLM had Robert Kyosaki, especially his two books: "Rich dad, Poor Dad" and " Cashflow Quadrant". Kyosaki`s approach of the subject is very interesting and far more approachable, which is refreshing and at the same time very realistic. Having such a person support this way of doing business, gives confidence and realistic chances of success.

Right choices, right opportunities....
