E-Commerce Versus Traditional Shopping

Today we will be discussing the E-Commerce versus Traditional Shopping. Figures for 2016 show that in the UK alone, the online shopping has grown by 16% and will grow by further 15% in 2017. This shows that anyone involved already in the industry, stand to make even more money this year.
According to We Are Social, more than 92% of the UK population is looking to do shopping on line.
This tells that the business to be in is the business on line.

The ten top UK online retailers are: Ebay, Amazon, Tesco, Argos, Asos, Next, John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, Ikea and B&Q. And the things that are mostly bought are: Clothing, Books, and Household goods. Many items are purchased outside the UK, like in Germany, for instance. The other very interesting information is that most of these goods, are purchased via a mobile device. This means that laptops, PC`s or tablets are hardly used. We see that most people search for goods on their mobile phone. How is this done? Well, most of these retailers have a mobile application to make life easier, however this means that if we shop in several shops, we would have to download individual app for every shop we buy from. The alternative is that we do not get the app, and use the browser to purchase. This means that we spend a lot of time going from one page to another.

There is a solution to this. Company called Sherlock Nation, formerly Shopping Gene, has made a revolutionary mobile application which allows shopper to save time and often money. They have released a free application for all devices, that allows people to purchase goods, services, hotels and flights from one place, without switching pages. The application is called Shopping Sherlock  , a really great tool, for price comparison, and daily deals. The UK app has more that fifty shops in one place. Ebay, AliExpress, Argos, Amazon, and many others. Often, purchase via the app is cheaper than the price directly searched on the webpage of the same shop. To download the go to your relevant app store and search Shopping Sherlock . You can earn bonus points which later can be converted to Amazon Vouchers. When registering for the use of the app, a pin need to be inserted, this can be obtained from someone that you know and already have the app installed, or you can use this pin (854874). If you like the app, you can recommend it to your friends and family.

How does E-Commerce versus Traditional Shopping compare? I believe that there is many people who absolutely love to go to the traditional shops, because they physically can see what they buy, they can try it and be active at the same time. Shopping online, is great, but this is rather for people who either have no time or simply don`t value the activity that goes with going out and actually visit shopping centres etc. There are merits to both ways of the activity, but most important aspect of this is that people have a choice.

The downfall of traditional shopping is that shops don`t pay us for reccommendation of their products, whereas Sherlock Nation, offer people the ability to make commissions. This app is available in more than 22 countries, and people involved in the business are able to earn commissions from all of those countries and more. To find out how you can benefit, please go to Sherlock Nation and view the videos, as well as marketing plan. The great benefit of the Sherlock business is
Sherlock Local. Providing free marketing for business on similar basis to Groupon, but with much better programme. Sherlock Local provide a free platform where the merchant has complete control on the offer they place. Sherlock is marketing the deal, and receive 15% of the sale price of the deal. No other fees are taken. To see how it works, please go to Sherlock Local.

It is certain that e-commerce will be developing to no end, and we will see more and more new ideas of how the e-commerce will be presenting its products or services. This may have a huge impact on the ecxistance of the traditional retailer, where we will most probably have show rooms rather than shops. What ever way it will be, we will be seeing a huge transformation of shopping experience in the next few years. All be it, to the benefit of the end user.
